About Me

My name is Victor Sparks, owner of Renaissance Home & Commercial Inspections, and I specialize in residential (including multi-family) and commercial inspections. I am a member of CREIA (California Real Estate Inspection Association), AAI (American Association of Inspectors) and NACHI (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors). Additionally, I am a Certified Building Inspector with the International Code Council (ICC) and I hold a California General Contractors license (inactive status).

 

 

I cover California's Sacramento area, including Placer, El Dorado, Yolo, Nevada, and Solano counties. I have over 25 years of hands-on experience in all phases of residential home construction. I have a unique combination of experience and management in construction, structural analysis, and inspections. I have built over 20 homes with my own hands and supervised the construction of 60 others. I have also worked as a building inspector. As owner of Renaissance Home & Commercial Inspections I have a genuine interest in your safety and well-being. From top to bottom, I inspect the property for any existing or potential safety hazards and report on them in a clear, computerized format that can be emailed to you within a few hours after the inspection. In addition to the standard inspection, I offer pool and spa inspections.

 

 

Committed to consumer education, I urge you to be present at the inspection, a valuable educational experience during which you can ask questions and better understand your property. I will offer maintenance tips, and share knowledge of the home that gives you control, confidence, and peace of mind about your decision and negotiations. Whether you are buying or selling, knowing the condition of the property paves the way for a fair, smooth transaction, especially with today's current high cost of real estate.

 

 

My advice does not end with the inspection; you are welcome to call me anytime after the inspection. I well understand that buying or marketing a property is one of the largest financial and emotional investments that you can make.

 

 

My user-friendly reports are very detailed and thorough. My computer-generated reports include extensive digital photography. Notations of individually-itemized Action Items, Maintenance Items and Recommended Upgrades are highlighted at the back pages of the report. The report can tell you what to expect in both interior and exterior maintenance before you buy or sell, to avoid unpleasant surprises.

 

 

I request 3-7 days' advance notice to schedule an inspection, but we will try our best to accommodate emergency situations.
